You're Invited to Our

Pop-Up Restaurant!

You may know us as the Young Urban Homesteaders. Or the "KimChi People." Or more recently, the "Guac People."

Whatever name you know us by, you know our food, and you know it's delicious.  We will be serving a full menu of delectable dishes that only a select few have ever had the joy of tasting.

Who are we?  Who are you?

We'll see you there.

Just the Right Thing

What is a "Pop-Up Restaurant?  Well, we've survived this long without our own brick & mortar location.  And we're not quite ready to take that leap.

So we thought we'd do a little preview, some foreshadowing if you will.  We're renting the Phoenix for four days.  We will be serving a full menu and providing plenty of entertainment.

Four whole days!  And in those four days you are invited to step into a magical world we create together: a world where you are among friends enjoying delicious food that is good for you, your community, and the planet.

For Just the Right Reasons

This is the fun one.  We're doing it to make money, right? I mean, we'd be lying if we said anything else.  But there are a lot of things we could do to make money, a lot of things that would take less effort.  So why this?

Well, we both have food allergies and we all know many chefs' pet peeves are people with "allergies." It makes going out and enjoying a meal tricky.

We also care about our common home: this Earth.  And all the creatures on it, with legs and without.  So we grow our own ingredients (nowhere near everything we need) in ways we feel good about.  We prepare those ingredients into food that is delicious and secretly good for you.

We want to expand this vision to grow more food and serve more delicious meals.  Because this world is on fire.  And it could use more people doing plain old good work.

If you believe in the vision of a more harmonious world, come enjoy a meal with us, and we'll bring it to life together.
